We are currently seeking applications for the following positions.
Foliage Order Puller -
The foliage order puller will receive instructions from the Foliage supervisor. Their key job responsibilities are selecting, prepping and loading plants for orders. In addition, they will help care for the foliage plant area, help unload trucks, assist in the maintenance of the foliage area, and assist other departments as needed. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Starting pay is $12.00 an hour.
Seasonal Dock Workers-
We are looking for a few people to work on the loading dock. The key job responsibility is loading and unloading semi and box trucks. The job is fast-paced and physical. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position starts March 30th and goes through Memorial Day. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Starting pay is $13.00 an hour.
Seasonal Greenhouse Workers -
We are looking for several people to assist with daily work at the Greenhouse. Tasks will include assisting Growers, moving plants, watering and planting. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. Starting pay is $12.00 an hour.
Summer Internship -
We are looking for several people to participate in our paid Summer Internship program. It starts in May working 7:30 am - 5+ pm, Monday-Friday, Saturdays required and goes through June & July working 7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday-Friday.

Production, 6 weeks

Unload product from truck and deliver supplies and plants from outside suppliers

Select blooming plants for fill orders generated by the sales department

Assist in the maintenance of the blooming plant areas

Move product between buildings and get the product ready for shipment

Work and organize the production line

Assist in other departments as needed
Intensive Production, 5 weeks

Grow, water, and care for plants

Operate and maintain greenhouse equipment and tools

Check and maintain greenhouse environmental conditions as appropriate

Learn about fertilization of plants, variety selection, and spacing requirements
-
Learn crop inspection; scout for insects
